I started to update this a couple days ago and then a killer thunderstorm rolled through so I went outside to watch the light show. So there's something to know.

Summary: I was born. I don't really remember it so I must have blacked out. That was 35 years ago and things have been kind of crazy ever since. I'm married to a woman now that is far better than I deserve and way hotter than me. I definitely married up. We have three children. 14, 13 and 12 ... Girl Boy Boy. Yes - they're driving me nuts and spending all my money. If they would quit eating, I'd be a rich man. We home schooled all the kids up until now. The oldesthas gone back to public school for high school and my oldest son decided he wanted to go back to school as well. I work for UPS and have for over 17 years. I'll do the math for you - I was 18 when I started working there. They've been good to me. I plan on retiring the day I turn 55 and never working again.

I read. Everything. There's books every where: kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, living room, kids rooms. If I'm sitting still, I'm reading something. Most times I can remember what I read. Not a photographic type memory, but a general comprehension with details. My teachers hated it. I wouldn't do my homework but would read the book/text while in class and make A's on tests and pass all my classes.

I enjoy a good discussion about almost anything - even if I don't agree with a certain point of view. I know in most cases I won't change someones opinion and they won't change mine, but that's ok. One thing I won't discuss is Abortion. For or against - it's off limits. I don't comment on every post, I don't post every day. Most things that get posted by me are random thoughts and things that go on dya to day in my life. I use LJ as a journal, posting things I want to remember later. I used to keep a paper journal, but those things are so last year. HAH.

I'm a nerd. I'm a geek. I like computers and playing online games, MMO's, call them what you will. I play the guitar. Poorly. But my wife likes it when I play so I try to play more. I enjoy a good glass of wine, a nice cold beer, and occasionally a mixed drink. I don't smoke or use drugs.

Overall, I'm just a guy. I'm trying my best to be a man and provide for my family. To teach my children the things that life requires to get through it. Mostly Honor, Integrity, Loyalty and Respect. Very simple concepts that seem to be missing from so many people.

I'm an ordained minister but I'm a practicing Buddhist. I meditate and pray. Sometimes at the same time - the prayers become a form of meditation that lets my mind slow down and relax. It allows me to stay centered - to try and remain calm in the midst of outer chaos.
